Dishwasher Pods
Dishwasher pods are also pre-measured, but their liquid, gel or powder ingredients are typically contained inside a thin water-soluble film.
That outer film is usually made from polyvinyl alcohol (PVA or PVOH). It is designed to dissolve when exposed to water during the dishwasher cycle.
